Recently voted Best in the East Bay (San Francisco) Nutritionist, Angela is a Registered Dietitian with holistic approach to nourishing our bodies.  She combines 20 years of working in the food and health industries with roots on her family farm and love for cooking and organic gardening to educate others about the benefits of healthy eating and the power food choices make for ourselves, our families and our environment.

As the founder of Vital Nutrition & Wellness, Angela’s clients enjoy learning simple, affordable ways to choose, prepare and eat delicious whole foods that nourish their bodies, improve their lab markers, help them feel and look better, and often free them from the need for medication.  In addition to her private consulting practice, Angela has published several recipes and articles on Nutrition and Mindful Eating. She travels the San Francisco Bay Area teaching adults and youth how to prepare, eat and grow wholesome, clean food through her very well received workshops including  Eating Clean in a Toxic World™, Nourishing You – 28 Days to a Healthier You™, and Mindful Eating in Today’s CRAZY World™.

Angela holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree (BS) in Nutrition from the University of Illinois and a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of San Francisco.  She is Registered Dietitian (RD) and Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200) who combines the benefits of yoga with healthy cooking, organic gardening, mindful eating, and restaurant and grocery store navigation to improve the health and well-being of her clients.   She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, California Center for Public Health Advocacy, Sustainable Foods Network, Environmental Working Group, and is ServeSafe and CPR/First Aid certified.  Angela resides in Danville, California with her husband and two daughters where she is an active volunteer in the San Ramon Valley Unified School District, Girl Scouts, Sustainable Danville Area and serves as an Advisory Board Member to Loaves and Fishes of Contra Costa County, a non-profit organization providing hot, nutritious meals to people in need.
